Getting started

How do I add my child?

After signing in, open Account & settings and add a child with their name, date of birth, and biological sex. Those three details let GrowSense place measurements on the correct WHO reference and set age-appropriate nutrition targets.

How do I record a measurement?

On the Medical tab, open Growth measurements and enter the height and weight. GrowSense charts it against the WHO percentile bands and updates the growth projection.

Do I have to log every day?

No. Log what you can. If you miss days, the recall tools can help you fill them from your child's typical patterns — and estimated days are always shown in gold, never mixed up with measured data.

Understanding the numbers

What is the readiness score?

It's a daily 0–100 summary of three growth levers — nutrition, activity, and sleep — each measured against age-appropriate targets. It is a motivational snapshot, not a medical assessment.

Why did my child's nutrition target change?

Targets for protein, calcium, zinc, water, and sleep are calculated from your child's age, sex, and latest weight using recognized dietary references — not fixed numbers. As your child grows, the targets update.

What do measured and estimated (blue and gold) mean?

Blue is data you measured or logged. Gold is an AI estimate the app filled for a gap. Estimates keep your trends continuous but are always labelled honestly and never trigger clinical alerts.

Is the growth projection a prediction of my child's adult height?

No. It's a transparent trajectory that follows your child's current percentile channel toward their genetic target range. It's an aid to understanding, not a clinical prediction — always discuss height concerns with a professional.

Account & data

How do I export my data?

You can export your family's history from the app. If you need help or a specific format, email us and we'll assist.

How do I delete my account?

Open Account & settings and choose Delete account. This removes your data from our live database. See the Privacy Policy for details.

How do I share with my child's doctor?

Use Grant access to invite a doctor or researcher. They see only what you share, and you can revoke access at any time.

I connected a wearable but sleep isn't syncing.

Check that the connected account matches the one on your child's profile, then use Sync now on the sleep card. If it still doesn't sync, email us with the device you're using.

Something's not working

If a screen looks wrong, a number seems off, or you found a bug, please tell us at contact@growsense.life. A short description and the screen you were on is enough for us to look into it quickly.
